- Daylight, ventilation, interconnections and privacy thus inform the design of this house with the layout being organised such that the private zone is on the inner side and the family spends most of their time in the area in the front. A combination of exposed brick and exposed RCC along with large sized glass windows, we have channelized our efforts into making of the main compositional structure of the house and created a multilevel altitude.
- A large indoor plant contrasts against the red brickwork and guides the eye up to the underside of the mezzanine floor. A steel staircase design spirals up to the mezzanine from a unique concrete bench base.
- This villa project was designed to sit comfortably within the community. However, it carves out a distinct identity through its materiality and scale.
