Can a router cause a slow internet connection?
I am getting extremely slow internet speeds when I try using my router and switch. This is how I have it configured. Cable modem is plugged into Gi0/0 of router (1941) Switch (48Port 3560 PoE) is plugged into.

My first suggestion would be to run some ethernet from main router to this unit in the garden building (this could even be buried cable). That should get internet to the mesh unit and then your strong wifi could actually connect to the internet out there.

I'm experiencing extremely slow internet speeds with my newly rearranged broadband setup, and I really cant figure out why, so any help would be appreciated. Basically, my 3 story house is wired with ethernet, but only from the 1st floor to the second, and then the 1st floor to the 3rd.
Internet Router : Dual Band AC D256DG. A genuine copy of Windows 11 Home. I have an internet connection of 40 MB/s download. My problem. Though the connection is steady, it is extremely slow at about, I'd guess, less than 1 MBP/s.
